Are there any exercise programs available that focus on prenatal exercise? I am particularly interested in yoga and strength training.

Prenatal Yoga @ Good Health Commons- Seton Williamson
Hi all,
There has been a new class added to the Yoga Yoga schedule at the Good Health Commons, located in the medical building of Seton Williamson.
It is at 10:30 am on Saturdays and so far, it is the only prenatal class I have found in Williamson county.

This is a yearly thing in Austin and pretty cool (I think). So far, I know that Yoga Yoga will be offering 2 free prenatal classes - both at 10 am and one north, one south.
There are a LOT of yoga studios participating, so if you get a chance to look around, there are probably free prenatal classes in various locations all day long.
Yoga Yoga
I am taking prenatal classes at Yoga Yoga and like them. Very calm and relaxing but stretches us out.
As most yoga classes, it depends on the instructor and what you like. I find the class on Tuesday mornings at Duval and Mopac location is good.
I know that Yoga Yoga offers
I know that Yoga Yoga offers prenatal yoga classes regularly (yogayoga.com). I have been to 4 of their 5 locations in town and they consistently have a calm, quiet atmosphere that I find really relaxing. Every instructor I've had has really focused on things like breathing and feeling good, not trying to force you into an uncomfortable position.
I've never taken the prenatal classes there, but I expect the standard of quality is the same.
There are a lot of different yoga sources in this town, so maybe try a craigslist search or look in the Chronicle too. I feel fairly certain there may even be some free prenatal yoga out there!
free prenatal yoga
maybe i'm not necessarily looking for FREE... just cheap. i checked around on craiglist and can't find anything. if someone hears anything, let us know! :)
