My baby is 2 months old and I am formula feeding with similac sensitive. I feed her 4 ounces and then in an hour she acts like she is hungry again. I try the distraction with play and moving around but nothing soothes her? What can I do?? I feel like she is excessively fussy.
At between 2 to 3 months of age, a typical formula-fed infant will be feeding around 4 to 6 times a day, from 4 to 7 ounces per feed. It is possible that with her advancing age and growth, she may be ready for more formula with each feeding, as long as she is tolerating her feeds without more spitting up. As always, it is important to make sure that she is burping well after feeds, and you can try over-the-counter infant gas drops if she seems to be gassy. It is advisable to make sure she has her routine well child visits with her pediatrician, to ensure that she is growing well and has no other medical cause for fussiness.
